Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. recently announced an extended service life for its 159PUL-SI series of snap-on aluminum capacitors, now rated for up to 5,000 hours at +105°C. These capacitors are ideal for applications such as solar inverters, industrial motor control systems, and power supplies, offering reliable performance in high-temperature environments.
The 159PUL-SI capacitors feature a cylindrical aluminum housing with a pressure relief valve insulated by a blue sleeve. They come in various sizes, ranging from 22x25mm to 35x60mm, and are available in voltage ratings from 200V to 500V. With a ripple current of 2.80A, a maximum ESR of 150mΩ at 100Hz, and a maximum operating temperature of +105°C, these components are designed for demanding industrial applications.
