VR Network has learned that at the High-Tech Fair Construction Technology Special Exhibition Area, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development showcased cutting-edge innovations in housing and construction, including prefabricated buildings and an affordable housing VR online room selection system. These exhibits drew significant attention from visitors and industry professionals alike.
In the prefabricated building exhibition zone, on-site staff demonstrated the construction process through interactive models and video presentations, making it easier for visitors to understand the technology behind this modern construction method. As one of China's first demonstration cities for prefabricated buildings, Shenzhen has been actively reforming and addressing challenges in the sector. By leveraging quality plastic brands and the EPC+BIM model, the city has developed a unique approach tailored to its own development needs. Today, prefabricated construction projects are widespread across all districts of Shenzhen, with over 1.4 million square meters of completed projects.
