The Zotye T700 has just come out soon, and will push the seven-seat version of the model - Zotye T700L, wheelbase super Haval H9!
The Zotye T700L, an upcoming seven-seater variant of the recently launched Zotye T700, is generating significant buzz in the automotive world. Zotye has already introduced a five-seater medium-to-large SUV with the T700, and now they are expanding their lineup with this larger, more spacious version. I recently got my hands on some exclusive images of the Zotye T700L, and I must say, it looks impressive.
One of the most striking features of the Zotye T700L is its bold hexagonal grille, which gives it a commanding presence. Paired with sleek, elongated headlights and a coupe-inspired silhouette, the SUV exudes an aura of modernity and elegance. In terms of dimensions, the T700L measures 4911mm in length, 1933mm in width, and 1755mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850mm. This makes it slightly longer and taller than its five-seater counterpart, while also surpassing competitors like the Haval H9 in terms of wheelbase.
Inside, the Zotye T700L offers a luxurious experience with premium leather upholstery and a host of high-end features. The front seats are heated, and there’s an electronically dimming rearview mirror, along with adjustable rear seating. To ensure comfort for all passengers, especially those in the third row, the SUV comes equipped with a three-zone automatic climate control system. Additional amenities include LED headlights, adaptive front lighting, rear privacy glass, and electrically operated welcome pedals.
Under the hood, the Zotye T700L will offer two engine options: a turbocharged 1.8-liter unit producing 177 horsepower and a more potent 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivering 190 horsepower. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The T700L also boasts several styling upgrades over its five-seater sibling, such as redesigned bumpers, extended rear sections, and sportier accents like chrome trim on the D-pillars and “T700 SPORT†badges on the side skirts.
Zotye is clearly pushing hard this year to establish itself as a major player in the Chinese SUV market. With models like the T600 Coupe, the recently launched T700, and the upcoming T700L, the brand is rapidly expanding its product portfolio. What's even more exciting is the possibility of additional offerings, including the Zotye S300, Zotye S700, Zotye T800, and possibly even a new MPV. It seems Zotye is keen on leveraging its existing platforms to introduce upgrades and new models quickly.
In the back, the T700L sports horizontal LED taillights that complement the front lights, providing excellent visibility at night. The rear windshield is tinted to match the sloping roofline, adding a sporty touch. Other design highlights include a shark-fin antenna and a rear spoiler, giving the vehicle a dynamic and aggressive stance. Depending on the trim level, the T700L will also feature unique alloy wheels, panoramic sunroofs, and roof rails.
Overall, the Zotye T700L appears to be a compelling option in the mid-to-large SUV segment. Its combination of stylish design, generous interior space, and powerful engine options positions it well against rivals. Whether it can achieve the same level of recognition as established brands remains to be seen, but Zotye is certainly making strides in the right direction.
