China's sensor network released the first batch of 6 standard drafts

Recently, the National Sensor Network Standards Working Group formally released the first batch of 6 standard exposure drafts for sensor networks completed in China. In the past two years, the working group has held eight plenary meetings and completed six drafts of national standards, two draft electronic drafts, and three draft national standards. Phased results have been achieved, and a sensor network standard system has been initially established. .

According to Liu Haitao, team leader of the National Sensor Network Standards Working Group and director of the Wuxi Institute of Internet of Things Industry, the six standards released this time are based on the standards of the sensor network standard system. The formulation, in line with the requirements of China's sensor network standard technology and market: These standards provide requirements for the overall functional requirements and architecture of the sensor network; the terminology of the sensor network is referenced at home and abroad and the terms are combed. Summary: The sensor interface in the sensor network is specified in terms of mechanical, electrical, and software levels; the coding rules are given for uniform node coding in the sensor network.

According to relevant experts, the six standards are expected to be formally promulgated and implemented by the end of this year.

It is reported that China started earlier in the research of sensor networks and basically kept pace with the international community. Especially in recent years, sensor networks have been listed as one of the main supporting contents in the National Science and Technology Major Special Project “Broadband Mobile Wireless Communication Network of New Generation”, increasing capital investment, and starting from the overall strategy to key technologies and equipment, etc. A number of technical studies. Under the guidance and promotion of national policies, relevant domestic scientific research institutions, enterprises and institutions are also actively conducting research on related technologies, and have formed application-driven characteristic development routes in the world, stimulating technology, standards, industries, and applications. Positive progress has been made in areas such as services.

The China Sensor Network Standard Working Group was formally established in September 2009 with the approval of the National Standardization Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is responsible for organizing the research and drafting of relevant standards for sensor networks. The working group consists of 116 companies with the most strength and influence in the field of sensor networks in China. It has established international standards, standards systems and system architecture, communication and information exchange, collaborative information processing, identification, security, and interfaces. A project team to carry out research and formulation of relevant standards.

At present, the first batch of 6 standard consultation drafts for completed sensor networks include: General Provisions, Terminology, Low-speed Wireless Sensor Network Layer and Application Support Sublayer Technical Specifications, Signal Interface Specification, and General Information Security "Technical Specification" and "Code for Identification Sensor Node Coding" indicate that China not only has its own sensor network standard, but also reflects that China's sensor network industry has entered a new stage of research and development.
