The industry suggests that domestic LED companies should pay attention to the layout of patents, and the government should also do a good job of warning and escort from the periphery.

“The domestic phosphor industry is still in the early stage of development, and the demand in the future is definitely higher and higher. I believe that the phosphor will maintain a growth rate of 30%-40% within 3 years.” Liu Ronghui, director of the Rare Earth Luminescence Materials Division It is said that the concentration of LED phosphor companies will become higher and higher in the future, and to be bigger and stronger, we must pay attention to the quality and intellectual property of products.

Liu Ronghui introduced that at the tenth meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress held at the end of August this year, the decision on the establishment of intellectual property courts in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou was passed. “This shows that intellectual property is increasingly valued by the state.”

“There are great advantages in the layout of patents. We have applied for foreign patents in the field of luminescent materials every year.” Liu Ronghui said that the company has obtained more than 20 items in the field of LED phosphors including the United States, Japan and South Korea. The invention patents in the company have developed more than 40 high-performance phosphors covering various color bands.

Liu Ronghui pointed out that many phosphor companies are currently exporting. If companies use unpatented phosphors to make devices, there will be great risks. "As far as I know, foreign countries have taken certain measures to deal with unpatented products. Not to scare domestic small businesses, I suggest that domestic companies must choose patent-protected phosphor devices."
