Texas Instruments (TI) today announced the availability of the latest UL-certified SafeTITM software suite to help simplify and accelerate the design of consumer-grade functional safety applications with TI C2000TM real-time control microcontrollers (MCUs). The software in these SafeTI software suites are UL listed and comply with UL 1998:2008 Class 1 and IEC 60730-1:2010 Class B standards, both of which cover household appliances, arc detectors, power converters, power tools Electric bicycles are also available.
