The semiconductor lighting technology standards working group has developed two standards: power LED blank detail specification and semiconductor light-emitting diode test method. Research is being carried out: semiconductor light-emitting diode life test method, and radiation safety research of light-emitting diodes. Future work will focus on the performance specifications and test methods of LED modules and the development of standards for other products, such as: LED module performance specifications, test methods; performance specifications for medium and small size LED backlights; characterization and testing of chip "thermal characteristics" method.
