ViTIllo had an opportunity to talk to Graylin an hour earlier this week about the possibility of moving from the Chinese VR market to Vive Focus (only if China is good enough). Although there was no earth-shattering news in the conversation, Graylin was asked when he was asked about the approximate price of Vive: Graylin said: "I can't give you any details, but I will say that pricing information will be announced in the near future. " 
“I think at that point, all your questions will be answered. Of course, as you said before, it is for prosumer or professional users. Like any product for professional users, it will be more than the existing one. Consumer products are more expensive."
Although there is no surprise, because the Vive Pro has 2880&TImes; 1600 (1440&TImes per eye; 1600 pixels), the higher specification AMOLED display is the same as the Samsung HMD Odyssey integrated audio, and the ergonomic headstrap is similar to the luxury audio for the consumer Vive. The shoulder strap, as well as the dual front camera - HTC has already set some precedents for consumer pricing and enterprise user pricing.
Consumer Vive's current minimum price is $600, which is $200 lower than when it was launched in April 2016. In August 2017 alone, consumer Vive was down to $600 in front of Oculus' $400 Rift + Touch bundle to stay competitive. Although this may capture this lifeline – Vive is priced to appeal to consumers, but it is priced at $800 instead of professional users, which means HTC may be more expensive than April 2016. Vive Pro is launched at the price level. 
Despite speculation, the company focuses on the company's Vive business, which is priced at $1,200 for professional users. It is undeniable that this includes many additional uses, including professional user licenses, commercial warranties, luxury audio tapes, expansion cables, and phone support guarantees. On the other hand, the extent to which Vive Pro will provide these costs, such as licensing/warranty options, remains to be seen.
So, when HTC launched Vive, you still don't know how much it will cost to buy HTC Vive, but when HTC finally releases price information in the near future, you should consider your own product.
