Toshiba is developing naked-eye 3D TV

Bloomberg reported that Toshiba spokesman Kaori Hiraki said in a telephone interview recently that Toshiba is developing new naked-eye 3D TVs, but he did not disclose the specific listing date.

According to a report by Japan’s “Reading News”, Toshiba will sell naked-eye 3D TVs during the year.

Toshiba has previously launched a number of naked-eye 3D panels, including 21-inch high-definition 3D screen and 12-inch 3D panels that can simultaneously support 2D, 3D image display.

The 21-inch naked-eye 3D screen adopts panoramic imaging technology and 9-inspection system, which can effectively reduce the visual fatigue caused by watching 3D for a long time. The 12-inch 3D imaging uses the GRIN lens technology. The principle is to control the refractive index of the light by controlling the alignment of the liquid crystal molecules. When the front panel is opened, it can simultaneously support 2D and 3D image display.
