Abstract: This paper introduces a design method of a new civil grid current meter based on CS5460A. The basic working principle of the instrument is summarized. The switching Power Supply, detection circuit, control circuit and display circuit in the instrument circuit are introduced in detail. The principle and design method of the detection circuit are introduced. And the program design flow is given.

O Introduction Traditional grid current meters generally use pointer-type meters, and all have shortcomings such as small measurement range, poor stability, low precision, inconspicuous reading of the meter pointer and large error, which are not suitable for the needs of social development. With the rapid development of intelligent measurement and control technology. The advantages of digital meters with microcontrollers as the core are already obvious. To this end, this paper uses single-chip microcomputer as the main controller of the instrument, and uses Cirrus Logic's energy metering chip to collect data, and gives a design method of grid current meter with high cost performance, strong anti-interference ability and high measurement accuracy.

1 System working principle In industrial production and daily life, accurate and real-time measurement of grid current is essential. In this paper, the switching regulator power supply is used to rectify the 220 V AC mains to analog and digital two +5 V power supplies to supply power to the entire meter circuit. Then, the current signal is detected by the current transformer, and then converted into a voltage signal, and sent to the single-phase power/power integrated chip CS5460A, and the signal sampling, calculation and error correction are completed on the chip. The entire process can be carried out under the control of the MCU. The working principle and structural block diagram of the instrument system are shown in Figure 1.
