On November 8, 2012, the urban management department of Wuxi New District stated that the renovation project of LED street lamps on the Yangtze River Road has been basically completed, becoming the city's first green lighting trunk road.

The newly installed LED street lamp has a simple and elegant overall design and good lighting effect at night. After calculation, the overall load of the Changjiang Road after the transformation will be reduced by approximately 59.4%, saving about 300,000 yuan in electricity costs each year.
