Ultrasonic drilling machine is an indispensable processing machine for the jewelry processing industry. It is mainly used for drilling and engraving high hardness materials such as crystal, natural gemstone, malay, jade and glass products. The following describes an ultrasonic puncher circuit for reference when making and repairing an ultrasonic puncher.
Circuit Operation Principle The ultrasonic perforated electromechanical routing power circuit, ultrasonic oscillator circuit, drive amplifier circuit and power output circuit are composed, as shown in Figure 8-124.


The power circuit is composed of a power switch S, a power transformer Tl, a rectifier diode VDl-VD8, an ammeter PA, a resistor R8, a three-terminal voltage regulator integrated circuit IC, and filter capacitors Cl, C3, C5, and C6.
The ultrasonic oscillator circuit is composed of resistors R9, R11, R12, inductor L, capacitors C7-C9 and transistor V7.
The drive amplifying circuit is composed of a capacitor C4, transistors V8 and V9, a input transformer n, and resistors R7, R10, R13, and R14.
The power output circuit is composed of windings W2 and W3 of the input transformer m, power amplifier tubes Vl-V6, resistors Rl-R6, output transformer T3, capacitor C2 and ultrasonic transducer B.
After the power switch S is turned on, the AC 220V voltage is stepped down by Tl, and an AC 22V voltage and an AC 56V voltage are respectively generated on the windings W7 and W8 of the T1. After the AC voltage of 22V is rectified by VD5-VD8 and filtered by C3, the W1 winding of one path is added to the collector of V9 to provide nearly 24V DC voltage for driving the amplifier circuit; the other is regulated by IC to +l5V, which is used as ultrasonic oscillation. After the AC 56V voltage is rectified by VDl-VD4 and filtered by Cl, the current output meter provides a DC working voltage of about 60V for the power output circuit.
The ultrasonic oscillator is oscillated after being energized, and the generated ultrasonic oscillating signal is amplified by V8 and V9, and then coupled to the power output circuit through m, and then amplified by Vl-V6, and then converted into ultrasonic energy by n driving the transducer. The mechanical vibration energy, the vibrating head repeatedly vibrates under the cooperation of the grinding powder (generally corundum) and water, and grinds the processed portion of the workpiece to form a grinding hole or an engraving pattern.
By adjusting the inductance of L or the capacitance of Cg, the frequency of the ultrasonic oscillator can be changed.
Adjusting the resistance of the RP can change the output power (the output power can be monitored by the PA).
Component selection
Rl-R6 uses lW metal film resistors; R7-R13 selects 1/4W metal film resistors.
The RP uses a multi-turn precision potentiometer.
L uses a black and white TV set to oscillate the coil.
Cl selects aluminum electrolytic capacitor with a withstand voltage of 1OOV; C2 selects high frequency ceramic capacitor; C3 selects aluminum electrolytic capacitor with 5OV; C4, C5, C7 and C8 select monolithic capacitor; C6 selects withstand voltage It is a 25V aluminum electrolytic capacitor; C9 uses a ceramic fine-tuning capacitor.
VDl-VD4 selects 6A, 100V silicon rectifier diodes; VD5-VD8 selects 1N4007 silicon rectifier diodes.
Vl-V6 selects 2SDl403 or BU508 high frequency high power silicon NPN transistor; V7 and V8 select 3DA87 type silicon NPN transistor; Vg9 selects BU407 type silicon NPN transistor.
The IC uses LM7815 or AN7815 three-terminal regulator integrated circuit.
The PA uses a 0-5A ammeter.
Tl selects 5OW power transformer; Ni uses E-shaped core and φ0.33mm high-strength enameled wire, Wl wraps around 250匝, W2 and W3 each wraps around 25匝; T3 uses small magnetic can and high-strength enameled wire, W4 and W5 The φ0.47mm enameled wire is wound around 30匝, and the W6 is wound around 360匝 with a φ0.33mm enameled wire.
