The HZ-15 Concrete Drilling Core Machine (referred to as the rig) is specifically developed for efficient and precise drilling in concrete structures. Instructions for Use:

Preparation Before Use:

1. Before using the rig, read the instruction manual carefully to understand its structure and operation. This will help ensure safe and proper use.
2. Clean all parts of the rig thoroughly. Apply 20# mechanical oil (GB443-64) to the column rack part for lubrication.
3. First, drill a hole of ∮19×50 mm to fix the rig. Move the rig to the work area, adjust the support screw, and level it using a spirit level. Ensure that the two rollers are off the ground before tightening the expansion bolt in the drilled hole.
4. Once the rig is fixed, connect the water source. Open the water switch and check if water flows out. If it does, the system is working properly.
5. Install the drill bit according to the required size for the job.
6. Turn on the power and run the machine for a few minutes. Check the feed handle to ensure it moves smoothly and reliably. If everything works well, proceed with the operation.

Usage Precautions:

1. During drilling, maintain a steady resistance and a consistent feed speed of 4–5 m/min. As the drilling nears completion, the machine may vibrate slightly due to changes in cutting force. At this point, reduce the feed rate appropriately. Once the cut is complete, quickly lift the drill bit and turn off the machine and water supply.
2. Ensure continuous water cooling throughout the entire drilling process. If you notice insufficient water flow from the drilling slot, stop the machine and inspect the water supply. However, if water flows into the lower layer without overflowing, it is normal.
3. If the drill bit gets stuck, raise it gradually and then slowly reinsert it. Avoid stopping the drill abruptly, as this can cause damage to the bit.
4. If the motor temperature exceeds 70°C during operation, temporarily stop the machine and let it cool down before resuming work.
5. When starting, turn the switch knob forward and slowly bring the drill bit into contact with the concrete surface. Once the blade enters the groove, apply pressure to begin drilling.
6. If the drill bit cannot penetrate the material and the diamond surface is not fully exposed, use a strong abrasive material like refractory brick or a grinding wheel to roughen the surface. This will allow the bit to start drilling effectively.
