Allegro's A1330 devices feature a system-on-a-chip (SoC) architecture with integrated CVH front end, digital signal processing, and analog or digital PWM output signals. To meet system requirements that require redundant sensors, the A1330 is available in both single- and dual-chip versions, all of which include on-chip EEPROMs that support up to 100 read/write cycles for flexible offline parameter calibration. Both versions are ideal for car level applications that require 0° to 360° angle measurements, such as EPS motor position measurement, as well as pump and gearbox actuators that require low latency and high resolution, as well as other high speed actuators. The A1330 also includes on-chip angle scaling to support applications requiring shorter angular displacements as small as 11.25°, including valve position, pedal position and tank level sensing. The dual-chip package version of the A1330 device is available in a stacked package that provides better channel-to-channel consistency than traditional side-by-side package technology. In applications where safety is critical, the output of the two wafers needs to be compared to ensure safe operation of the system. This consistency parameter is very important. The single- and dual-chip versions of the A1330 are available in a flat, lead-free, 8-pin TSSOP package with 100% matte tin leadframe plating.
